IFB 24-07-522 BLUE LINE BUS RAPID TRANSIT CONSTRUCTION PROJECT

Summary: Indianapolis Public Transportation Corp., dba IndyGo, is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the Blue Line Bus Rapid Transit Construction Project, IndyGo’s third bus rapid transit line. Once completed, it will extend 24 miles between Cumberland and the Indianapolis International Airport. The Blue Line will run through several neighborhoods, past major employers. The project will upgrade sidewalks to be continuous on both sides of Washington Street and add new sidewalks where none currently exist. Existing sidewalks in poor condition will be repaired or replaced providing institutions, healthcare and educational facilities with fast, frequent and reliable service.
