INVITATION FOR BIDS

ANNUAL WATER AND SEWER PIPE FITTINGS AND RELATED INVENTORY MATERIALS.

The Douglasville-Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority (thereafter referred to as the ¿Authority¿) is soliciting competitive sealed bids from vendors for pipe fittings; concrete materials, valves and manhole products; cast valves and meter boxes; plastic boxes, accessory kits, sewer couplings and fittings used for water and sewer maintenance for one calendar year from December 20, 2025 through December 19, 2026. The delivery price shall be firm for the calendar year.

Bids will be received by the Authority at its Administrative Offices located at 8763 Hospital Drive, Douglasville, Georgia 30134 until 2:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Bids shall be sealed and mailed or delivered to the Authority so that they are received no later than the above time and date. No bid may be withdrawn during the 60-day period following the opening, except as provided by law.

Bids received after the closing time and date, for any reason whatsoever, will not be considered. It will be the sole responsibility of the bidder to assure all bids are delivered to the Authority¿s Administrative Offices on or before the above stated time and date. The Authority will in no way be responsible for delays in mail delivery or delays caused by any other occurrence. Any bids received after the above time and date will not be accepted under any circumstances.
