2025 ANNUAL PAVING
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The TOWN OF CHRISTIANSBURG (hereafter referred to as the “Town”) is soliciting Sealed Bids for the construction of 2025ANNUAL PAVING. The Project consists of milling, paving, full depth repair, dressing shoulders, and striping to current VDOT standards. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Bid Security in the amount of five (5) percent (%) of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid.
Sealed Bids
must be received via in-person delivery, mail, or electronic submission through eVA, on or before February 6
, 2025, at 2:00 PM, EST
. If hand delivered or mailed, the time of receipt shall be determined by the time clock stamp in the Purchasing Office. If submitted via eVA, time of receipt shall be determined by the eVA submittal system time clock.

Responses should be signed and must be submitted with the provided attachments.

The Bidder must provide all exceptions to this Invitation for Bid in writing, to be included with the Bid.

Bids received after the deadline will not be accepted.
If bids are hand delivered or mailed
, they must be delivered to the Town of Christiansburg Purchasing Office, 100 East Main Street, Christiansburg, VA 24073. It is the bidder’s responsibility to confirm that all bids are received by the Town’s Procurement Officer prior to the time stated above. Sealed bids should be returned in a sealed envelope clearly marked, “Bib Response for IFB 255000012, 2025 Annual Paving” and addressed to Tara Vance, Procurement Officer. Bidder’s name should be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope.

. In order to submit an online bid through eVA the Bidder should be a registered vendor in eVA. The Town is not responsible for establishing vendors in eVA. Bidders are advised that the process of becoming an established vendor in eVA may take several days. If the Bidder encounters any issues submitting an online bid through eVA, the Bidder should contact eVA Customer Care for assistance.
A pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 PM local time on January 16, 2025, at the ADMIN CONFERENCE ROOM, CHRISTIANSBURG TOWN HALL, 100 EAST MAIN STREET, CHRISTIANSBURG, VA 24073. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is not mandatory, but highly encouraged. To join the meeting virtually, please request an invite from the project contact.
