Seven (7) temporary bench ponds exist on the permit and will need to be filled, compacted in 1 lifts, and graded in a manner to create positive drainage to the existing natural outslope. All haul road berms will be removed by grading in place and/or moved to other locations for use as fill material within bench ponds, bare and low areas, and exposed cut areas. Diversion ditches will be removed by grading material to create a smooth transition into the upper slope and then be tracked in. Silt traps and silt checks will be installed within constructed ditches and other needed locations as silt control and as flow dissipaters. Silt barriers, fence or bales, will also be utilized during reclamation activities to prevent and/or reduce off-site silt migration. Revegetation of all disturbed areas will made by uniformly spreading agricultural limestone, by performing seedbed preparations (tracking), uniformly spreading fertilizer, and then all aspects of hydro-seeding and hydro-mulching. Erosion control blanket will also be utilized as part of the revegetation plan as needed. A permanent section of haul road that is actively being utilized by the landowner for accessing property will be graded and graveled once reclamation work is completed for erosion protection and longevity of roadway.
