I-16 / I-75 Phase 6 Force Main

Sealed Bids for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment and appurtenances necessary for the installation of I-16 / I-75 Phase 6 Force Main (the ¿Project¿) will be received by the Macon Water Authority (the ¿Owner¿), at the Macon Water Authority, 537 Hemlock Street, Engineering Training Room Macon, Georgia 31201 until 2:00 P. M., local time, Tuesday, December 9, 2025, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. All bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting at the same location at 10:00 A.M. on _Thursday, November 20, 2025. All bid questions must be submitted to the Owner by 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. The Bidder should attend the pre-bid meeting in its entirety.
The Project consists of installing approximately 2,035 LF of 24¿ DIPS DR 9 HDPE Sanitary Sewer Force Main by Open Trench and Aerial installation.
The Project will be awarded in one Contract. Fifty-one percent (51%) of the Work under the Contract Documents must be self-performed by the General Contractor. The Project will be awarded by base bid on a lump sum basis for the performance and completion of all Work required by the Contract Documents.
