Summary

The Escambia County Board of County Commissioners is seeking proposals for the purchase, installation and maintenance of an anolyte generator(s). The generator(s) will be capable of producing sufficient disinfectant on demand (DOD) for all facilities while staying safe for human and animal contact, including ingestion, inhalation, and skin exposure. In addition, the DOD must be non-corrosive, non-flammable and cannot be weaponized or misused to create intoxicants. The selected contractor will be responsible for delivering, installing, testing, training personnel, and providing ongoing hardware and software maintenance. Proposals must address the detailed specifications outlined in this document, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.



Background

Escambia County Corrections Department (ECCD) is responsible for the care, custody and control of individuals housed within the correctional facilities throughout the County. Currently, there are two correctional housing facilities and one Community Corrections facility. The Work Annex supplies 42 road crews, and the Jail maintains two road crews. DOD will need to be provided for the transports. The table below outlines the locations where the hypochlorous acid will be used and square footage of the facilities.
