Hynes Insulated Rolling Steel Fire Door

The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (the “Authority”) requests invitations for bid
for purchase and install of Exterior Insulated Rolling Steel Fire Door for the Hynes Convention
Center, to replace existing roll up door, inclusive of all labor and materials to provide a
functional/operational roll up door, manual and electric operation.
Bids must be received at the Executive Office of the Authority, Attn: Brendan Flynn, Director of
Purchasing, 415 Summer Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02210, not later than 12:00 p.m. local
time on March 26th, 2025. Bid requirements and content are set forth in the Invitation for Bid,
and in conjunction with MGL Ch. 30B regulations.

A Pre-Bid Walkthrough will be held at 10:00AM, March 12, 2025. Interested bidders will meet
at the main entrance of Hynes Convention Center, 900 Boylston Street, Boston, MA, after which
we’ll view the roll up door.
Questions or requests for information, clarification or interpretation of the bidding documents
must be submitted in writing in accordance with the Invitation for Bid and must be received no
later than 5:00 PM, March 19, 2025.
