Hydroptic Zooscan

Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of a Hydroptic Zooscan from Sarl Hydroptic as a sole source because of the uniqueness (design, capability, nature) of the goods and the contractor being the single provider of the goods. Device must be waterproof and resistant to salt water, formaldehyde and ethanol. It must be able to handle and digitize samples, be non-destructive with safe sample recovery, be high resolution and use bottom illumination. Device must also be able to image zooplankton >150 µm in length at a resolution of 2400 dpi. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010.
