|
The City of Brooksville is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the bulk delivery of hydrated lime slurry, and for the use of disinfection of pathogens in the process of lime stabilization on sludge at the wastewater plant before the contractor hauls it out for land application.
Loads are received approximately once every other month, and the amount from each load is about 5,000 gallons. Please note the frequency of loads can vary depending on demand.
The bid will cover the hydrated lime slurry amount and transportation of the hydrated lime slurry to the wastewater plant.

An ATTENDANCE RECOMMENDED Pre-bid Meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Council Chambers at the City of Brooksville City Hall, 201 Howell Ave., Brooksville, FL, 34601. No site visit is planned to follow the pre-bid meeting. The purpose of the pre-bid conference is to allow potential Proposer/Contractors an opportunity to present questions to staff and obtain clarification of the requirements contained in the solicitation. This conference will be held only once and is open to the public. Please contact the Procurement Division for further information.
