HWY 47 TANK AND CHERRY STREET TANK MIXING SYSTEMS
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of the HWY 47 TANK AND CHERRY STREET TANK MIXING SYSTEMS
shall be received by the CITY OF TROY at their office located at 800 CAP AU GRIS ST, TROY, MO 63379,
until 2:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at which time the Bids received will be
publicly opened and read. The Project consists of installing an approved Potable Water Tank Active
Mixing System capable of completely mixing the 1,000,000 gallon Highway 47 Elevated Water Storage
Tank and the 500,000 gallon Cherry Street Elevated Water Storage Tank. The mixing system is to
include telemetry and SCADA control. The Highway 47 Tank is located along the intersection of Highway
47 and S. Moore School Road, on the west side of Troy, Missouri. The Cherry Street Tank is located on E.
Cherry Street, east of Hwy 61 and Ease of Mercy Hospital.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum price basis, as indicated on
the Bid Form.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Four Points Land Surveying & Engineering, Inc., 17
Northport Plaza, Hannibal, Missouri 63401. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents
at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., and
may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.
Bidding Documents also may be examined at the office of the City of Troy, Missouri, Mondays through
Fridays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
The Bidding Documents may be obtained electronically at no cost from the City of Troy or from Four
Points Land Surveying & Engineering, Inc. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the
Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of
the Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Prevailing Wage is not required for projects with a total cost of less than $75,000.00 per 8 CSR 30-3.050.
Performance and Payment Bonds are not required.
