HWSA Contract 25-5 - Rehabilitation of Park Creek STP Influent Pump Station Jib Cranes and Electric Chain Hoists

Project Description: Sealed bids will be received by the Horsham Water and Sewer Authority online at PennBid™ https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com until 10:00 A.M., prevailing time on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at which time the bids shall be opened for:
REHABILITATION OF PARK CREEK STP INFLUENT PUMP STATION JIB CRANES & ELECTRIC CHAIN HOISTS
CONTRACT NO. 25-5
The work to be done under this contract consists of all labor, equipment, and materials to inspect and repair the Box/Head Assemblies, Trunnion Roller Assemblies, 2-hp electric motor operated Coffing® chain hoists and stainless-steel lifting chains and appurtenances and perform a load test on three (3) 2-ton capacity freestanding Spanco® Jib cranes as described elsewhere in the Project Manual and/or shown on the Drawings. All work is to be completed in strict accordance with the Project Manual. Work is contained under one (1) lump sum contract.
Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contracts, and to waive any informality in the bids. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of the bids.

The project is subject to applicable provisions of Act 422, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, as amended, and prevailing minimum wage rates issued by the PA Department of Labor and Industry.
If requested, a pre-bid meeting will be scheduled for July 9, 2025, at the Park Creek STP (1010 Park Ridge Road, Horsham, PA 19044). Time to be determined.
The following professional consultant is responsible to the Authority for the project: Gilmore & Associates, Inc., 65 East Butler Avenue, Suite 100, New Britain, PA 18901.
All bids must be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
