HVAC Replacement - Washington Township (Northampton County) Municipal Building

Project Description: Washington Township is requesting bids to replace its existing HVAC system at the township municipal building, utilizing existing ductwork. Please include bids for both standard HVAC and heat pumps. Work to include demolition and disposal, per EPA standards, of three (3) air handlers, five (5) outdoor units and existing copper refrigerant piping, installation of three (3) new air handlers or heat pumps and installation of new outdoor units. Please provide costs of all materials, parts, labor, testing, sealing , balancing and any warranties available. Prevailing wages apply to this project. Work is to be performed at the Washington Township Administrative building located at 1021 Washington Blvd., Bangor PA 18013. Bids will only be accepted online through PennBid. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Washington Township. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 15 days of the award of the contract. All bids must be received on or before July 8, 2026 at 2:00 pm. and will be opened and made public immediately following. The contract award will occur at the Washington Township Board of Supervisors meeting on July 8, 2026 at 7:00 pm at the township building located at 1021 Washington Blvd., Bangor PA 18013. Washington Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and accept the bid which in the best interest of the township.
