HVAC Fire Department

You are invited to bid on the installation of a new HVAC unit located at the Fire Department, 419 N. Broadway, for the City of Abilene, Kansas Administrative Office.

The City of Abilene, Kansas, will receive sealed bids until 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at the Office of the City Clerk, 419 Broadway, Abilene, Kansas 67410.

Bidders must specify the following.

• Installation of a new HVAC unit for the bunk house in the fire department.
• The unit will be installed in the conference room attached to the bunk house.
• The new HVAC unit will need to be sized accordingly to the bunk house and conference room.
• Warranty information related to the product that is installed.
• Price for the unit and related costs regarding the installation.
• Bids need to include all work, labor, parts and equipment to install and for unit to be completely operational at the time of installation.
• Remove any old debris from the project.
• And in-person site visit is a requirement for the bid to be accepted.

Parts and service availability will be considered in the evaluation of the bid.

The City of Abilene reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities under these specifications.
