RE: ADDENDUM #1, BID NO. 20260297, HURRICANE IAN PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT

Bidders are hereby notified that this addendum shall be made a part of the above-named proposal and contract documents.

The following is issued to modify, and/or clarify the proposal and contract documents. These items shall have the same force and

effect as the original bid and contract documents, and bids to be submitted on the specified date shall conform with the additions,

deletions and revisions as listed herein.

ITEM #1

QUESTIONS/ANSWERS:

Q1: For Kiwanis Park, can the current concrete curbing be reused? It looks like it is in good shape

A1: There is no curbing in the area where the new structure is going. The current structure will remain.

See attached photo of current site conditions.

Q2: For Kiwanis Park, I walked the fitness trail and did not see a station with step up pedestals. Can you provide

a photo of a similar structure you are looking for? Also, can you show on a map where this station would be

located on the trail (for installation access purposes)?

A2: See attached aerial for location, this piece was demolished post hurricane. Also, the attached image

shows a piece of equipment similar to what was there before.

Q3: For Rotonda Park, I did not see photos of the “safety rail”, I only saw photos of the swing, shade post, and

safety sign. Can you please clarify what this is referring to?

A3: I have attached the close out documents from when the equipment was installed. This should help in

identifying the missing piece.

This addendum is binding and is to be considered as if contained within the original bid documents of Bid No. 20260297. Bidders

are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their bid forms.
