Huron Xeriscaping - IRA, Federal Building, Huron, SD

Amendment 0001 posted 1/28/25 to answer questions received, see attachment. Work includes, but is not limited to: provide labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to complete a xeriscape landscaping project for the buildings and grounds at the Federal Building in Huron, South Dakota through the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). The project will replace approximately 41,497 square feet of existing sod forming turf grass and the end state of the project is to provide a xeriscape landscaping that will greatly reduce water use, labor, and chemical inputs over the existing turf grass lawn. The contractor will be responsible for supplying and planting of perennial, native and nonnative, non-invasive, drought tolerant plants such as grasses, flowers, broadleaved plants, and shrubs. The contractor must also reconfigure the existing underground sprinkler head and bubbler system to service existing trees, shrubs, and the new plantings. See attached solicitation for details.
