INVITATION TO BID

PROJECT NO. 000864: HUNTER PARK TENNIS COURTS REHABILITATION

Notice is hereby given that the City of Ashland, Oregon, is currently accepting sealed Bids for supplying all labor, equipment, and materials for Project No. 000864: Hunter Park Tennis Courts Rehabilitation at 1699 Hunter Ct, Ashland, OR 97520. Sealed bids must be received by 2:00:00 PM (PST), May 26, 2026 either digitally by submission through OregonBuys or mailed to 340 S Pioneer St, Ashland OR 97520.

Bids physically received after this time will not be considered. If the total amount of the contract exceeds $250,000, the award of the contract must be approved by the Local Contract Review Board.  A contract for the work will be awarded, or Bids may be rejected, separately or entirely, within thirty (30) days after Bid opening.

The general character of the work for Project No. 000864 includes:

• Acquisition of permits and issuance of all required notifications.
• Removal and disposal of asphalt surfacing
• Asphalt paving
• Recreational court surfacing
• Fencing removal and disposal
• Hand railing installation
• Installation of vinyl fencing and gates, including windscreen
• Removal of existing drinking fountain
• Installation of drinking fountains, including concrete pads and waterlines
• Tennis netting and footing
• BID ALTERNATIVE: Wall siding demolition, installation and painting

The solicitation documents, including plans and specifications for the Project, are downloadable at OregonBuys (https://oregonbuys.gov/bso/). Bid # S-KA0010-00016720. The solicitation documents and addenda may be downloaded at no charge. They will NOT

be mailed to prospective Bidders. Bidders should consult the OregonBuys website regularly until closing to avoid missing any addenda.

Bidders shall pre-qualify as provided by ORS Chapter 279C.430 and in accordance with the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, Oregon Chapter of APWA, for all classes of construction.  Pre-qualification applications must be received by the City of Ashland five (5) days prior to the date designated for the opening of the bids.

All projects in excess of $50,000.00 require the Contractor to pay prevailing wage rates.   The contract resulting from this solicitation will require the successful Bidder to comply with Oregon’s Prevailing Wage Rates.

The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids in accordance with ORS 279C.395.
