1.1 PROJECT INFORMATION

A. Notice to Bidders: Qualified bidders are invited to submit bids for Project as described in this Document according to the Instructions to Bidders.

B. Project Identification: Humboldt Auditorium - Phase 4.

F. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work:

1. General Contract (all trades).

G. Sales Tax: Not required

1.2 BID SUBMITTAL AND OPENING

A. Owner will receive sealed bids until the bid time and date at the location indicated below. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as follows:

1. Bid Date: January 21st, 2026.

2. Bid Time: 1:00 p.m., local time.

3. Location: Humboldt Auditorium

B. Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud.

1.3 BID SECURITY

A. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.

1.4 PREBID CONFERENCE

A. A Prebid Conference for all bidders will be held at the Humboldt Auditorium on January 7, 2026 at 1:00 pm, local time. Prospective bidders are highly encouraged to attend. The prebid conference will include a tour of existing conditions.

1.5 DOCUMENTS

A. Online Procurement and Contracting Documents: Documents will be hosted on the plan room of Drexel Technologies, (913) 371-7128. Digital and physical documents will be available for purchase from Drexel Technologies. Only complete sets of documents will be issued.

1. Plans and specifications will also be on file at the Humboldt City Office, 330 East Square, Humboldt, NE 68376. Phone (402) 862-2171 for use by contractors and suppliers.

1.6 TIME OF COMPLETION

A. Bidders shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time.
