Human Ecology – Cooling Tower Upgrades
Description:

The State University of New York at Oneonta will receive sealed bids for project number 091113 titled Human Ecology – Cooling Tower Upgrades until 2:00 p.m. local time on February 6, 2025, the Facilities Planning Annex, 322 West Street, where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud.

All work on this Contract is to be completed by July 1, 2025.

Complete sets of Contract Documents for bidding may be obtained from Dataflow, 2215 Central Ave., Schenectady, NY 12304, (518) 463-2192 or through their website at www.godataflow.com . In order for your bid to be accepted, you must have purchased the bid documents from the above location. Section 143 of the State Finance Law requires payment of a deposit to receive these documents. Contract documents can be purchased from Dataflow for $80.00 with check or credit card. Digital copies can be purchased for $49.00. Deposits will be waived for certified Minority and Women Owned and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses.

All questions and/or requests for clarifications regarding the contract documents are to be directed to: Cindy Lehr Cindy.Lehr@oneonta.edu and to Corey Rothfuss CRothfuss@LaBellaPC.com . The last day for questions or requests for clarification regarding the contract documents is January 29, 2025, by 2:00pm.

A project walk through will be held on January 21, 2025, at 10:00 am. Please meet at construction trailer at 322 West Street, Oneonta.

Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid.

It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.

The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
