Hull St and E 29th St Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon (UPC 121415)

The City of Richmond is accepting bids for the construction of the Hull St and E 29th St Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon (UPC 121415) project to provide general contracting services that include, but are not limited to, the installation of a pedestrian hybrid beacon (PHB), pedestrian signals, push buttons, public rights-of-way accessibility guidelines (PROWAG) compliant curb ramps on accessible routes, and crosswalk/signal-related pavement markings.

The City of Richmond, in conjunction with Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), developed this project to address the need for improved pedestrian crossing safety by installing a Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon along Hull St. at the intersection of Hull St./29th St.
