Hugh A. Wyckoff Generator Electrical Building VAC Replacement

The Project consists of replacing the existing HVAC units with computer-room air-conditioning (CRAC) systems at the main switchgear and generator building located at Cobb County-Marietta Water Authority’s (CCMWA) Hugh. A Wyckoff Water Treatment Plant. This building houses the plant electrical switchgear and automatic transfer switches for the facility’s three emergency generators. The scope will include, but is not limited to, the following major elements:

·         Removing existing indoor and outdoor air conditioning units, associated refrigerant and condensate lines.

·         Removing and salvaging existing lineset covers for reinstallation.

·         Installing new indoor and outdoor air conditioning units as shown on the plans.

·         Installing new refrigerant lines and condensate lines in accordance with the existing routing.

·         Coating new refrigerant and condensate linesets with PVC-coated insulation.

·         Removing and replacing existing air handler and condenser circuits with new XHHW-2 wiring.

·         Removing and salvaging existing conduit for repulling with new XHHW-2 wiring.

·         Removing and replacing existing disconnect switches with 60A/3P disconnect switches, as shown on the plans.

·         Installing new I/O connections to integrate additional data points into the existing SCADA system.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Tuesday, November 18 at 10 AM at the Hugh A. Wyckoff Water Treatment Plant, 3728 Mars Hill Road, Acworth, GA 30101. Each bidder shall be limited to three personnel per organization.
