NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is Hereby Given that sealed proposals endorsed as listed in the below Bid/RFP Opportunities section
will be received and publicly opened by the Purchasing Agent of the City of Clifton, at the due date and
prevailing time described below, at which time they will be publicly opened and read in Conference Room
101, at City Hall, 900 Clifton Avenue, Clifton NJ 07013.
Proposals are to be delivered no later than the prevailing due date and time indicated below, but it is strongly
urged that due to potential Covid-19 restrictions, Proposals be delivered ahead of the above bid opening
time. Proposals shall be delivered to the Finance Office, located on the 2nd Floor of 900 Clifton Ave,
Clifton, County of Passaic, New Jersey 07013, attention of Amisha Jariwala, Purchasing Agent. The City
of Clifton is prohibited from publicly opening Proposals on Mondays or any day directly following a State
or Federal holiday, in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23 a and b.
BID OPPORTUNITIES:

DATE and TIME: July 14, 2026, at 11:00 am
Bidding documents (a "Bid Package") may be obtained via email request by prospective bidders
between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. Be sure to include your
company name, telephone number, and email address when submitting your request to the City's
Purchasing Agent Amisha Jariwala at ajariwala@cliftonnj.org.
All bid addenda will be issued on the website at www.cliftonnj.org. Therefore, all interested
respondents should check the website from now through bid opening. It is the sole responsibility
of the respondent to be knowledgeable of all addenda related to this procurement.
The City of Clifton is only responsible for forwarding addendums or clarifications to those
prospective bidders who obtained specifications directly from the City of Clifton, Division of
Purchasing, or to those who have put the City of Clifton, Division of Purchasing, on notice as
having received the specification.
Required bidder information can be found in the specification documents. This Proposal is
solicited through a fair and open process, in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq.
Bidders shall comply with the requirements N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 (P.L. 1975, c.127) and N.J.A.C.
17:27-1 et seq.
