Hubbard -Totton Building Elevator Replacement

A Pre-Proposal Meeting will be held for the Hubbard-Totton Building Elevator Replacement project for Engineering services on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 10:00 am. The meeting will be held at: NCCU Hubbard-Totton Building 1801 Fayetteville Street Planning Room, First Floor, Room #113 Durham, NC 27707 Summary Scope of Work: Provide architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design documents to remove the existing elevator at the Hubbard Totten Building and install a refurbished elevator at the same location. The project includes replacing the existing swing door with bi-fold doors retracting into the hoist way and upgrading the elevator to meet current NC Building Code and SCO requirements. Services include: - Design Development to verify field conditions and prepare preliminary plans - Preparation of complete construction drawings and specifications; submission to SCO for review - Elevator and interior finish specifications, elevator data, and AutoCAD floor plans (based on available drawings or scanned PDFs) - Probable cost estimates of design development and construction document phases - Construction administration, including pre-bid and pre-construction meetings, submittal and RFI review, final punch list, and project closeout documentation Access to previously completed design plans will be made available upon request.
