Napa County has received funding through Caltrans’ Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) grant program to provide improvements at the intersections of Silverado Trail with Oak Knoll Avenue and Zinfandel Lane.

The project is located in Napa County, CA. This is a safety improvement project that will take place at the intersections of Silverado Trail with Oak Knoll Avenue and with Zinfandel Lane. At the Oak Knoll Avenue intersection, the scope of work includes the installation of a southbound right turn lane on Silverado Trail and widening of the roadway apron at Oak Knoll Avenue. Supplementary work will include, but is not limited to, tree and vegetation removal, grading, drainage, paving, tree planting and irrigation (2 years of post-construction maintenance and monitoring), thermoplastic striping, and the installation of a streetlight. At the Zinfandel Lane intersection, the scope of work will include updated thermoplastic striping and bike lane improvements and the installation of a streetlight.

Engineer's estimate: $650,000.
