Historic Preservation Commission

TAKE NOTICE that on the 5th day of March, 2026, the Millburn Township Historic Preservation Commission took the following actions:

1. Application No. 625. Carried the application for 62 Western Drive, Short Hills, by Rachael & Nick Garrett, to construct a two-story addition to rear of home, expand existing two-car detached garage to become a three-car detached garage, design new patio, walkways, pool, and other associated exterior site improvements.

The above-mentioned application is carried to April 9, 2026, without further noticing, aside from re-noticing in the officially designated newspaper.

1. Application No. 622. Adopted a resolution memorializing the approval for 17 Minnisink Road, Short Hills, by Rajesh Sharma & Rashmi Kumari, to construct house additions, a roof alteration, and other associated exterior site improvements.
   
   
2. Application No. 624. Adopted a resolution memorializing the approval for 174 Highland Ave, Short Hills, by Ralph and Laurene Inglese, to remove and replace slate roof on main portion of the house, add three dormers to the front of the roof, add brow roof over garage doors, and other associated exterior site improvements.
