Summary

Retrieve the fan blade, hub, and assembly.
When arriving on site the cooling tower supply will be LOTO.
The components will be lifted onto the cooling towers.
The grate will be removed, and the broken hub will be removed from the shaft of the motor.
The replacement hub will be secured into place, and the fan blades adjusted for the correct for the correct pitch.
The fan motor will be started to ensure proper balance and operation of equipment.
Contractor will be responsible for all Lock out tag out (LOTO) operations and PPE.
Remove all components and safety guards of fan assembly needed to complete the repair.
Install replacement fan and hub assembly.
Verify fan blades are set to proper pitch, and the assembly is properly installed and secured.
Dispose of the old fan assembly.
Replace all components and safety guards of fan assembly.
Conduct test of new fan assembly. Check for proper rotation, balance, and vibrations.
Verify fan is operating correctly.
