PROCESS, TIMELINE, AND BUDGET

Proposals are to be submitted to SMCOG no later than 4:00 PM Central Time on Friday, February 16, 2024.

SMCOG staff will evaluate all proposals received by the deadline and select the winning proposal.

The SMCOG Executive Committee will vote to enter into a contract with the selected firm at their meeting on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.

The final report must be completed by August 30, 2024, and all expenses must be incurred/paid by October 31, 2024.

Proposals to complete the required elements should not exceed $30,000. Additional alternatives above this amount may be submitted for consideration if additional funds become available, however, additional funds are not guaranteed and should not be anticipated during the development of the proposal.

The Housing Study final report must be delivered to SMCOG electronically and at least four bound hard copies. Once completed and delivered, the final report and all associated documents and information shall become the property of SMCOG, and at their sole discretion, may copy, publish, share/disseminate any part or the entirety of the document and supporting materials.
