Household Hazardous Waste Management and Emergency Response Services

The City of Palo Alto owns a permanent Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Station located at 2501 Embarcadero Way, Palo Alto, CA 94303 which is open for residential collection events every Saturday from 9:00 - 11:00am and the first Friday of each month from 3:00 - 5:00pm. The City is seeking the services of an experienced and qualified Hazardous Waste Contractor to operate and manage the HHW Station collection events, the Very Small Quantity Generator (VSQG) program, the Door-to-Door HHW pickup for physically limited residents, and the Reuse Zone for a term of 5 years. In addition to managing the HHW Station programs, this scope of work also requires the Contractor to provide 24-hour hazardous waste emergency spill response services on an as needed basis.
