Household Hazardous Waste Event Services

Project Description: Forsyth County, Georgia (the “County”), is soliciting Proposals from qualified firms to provide bi-annual, Household Hazardous Waste Event services for the Forsyth County, City of Cumming and Keep Forsyth Beautiful, Inc. for calendar year 2025, with the option to renew the services on an annual basis for calendar years 2026 and 2027. The County intends to contract the services of an experienced, qualified contractor to establish and operate a household hazardous waste collection facility at the Cumming Fairgrounds Parking Lot at 235 Castleberry Rd, in Cumming, Georgia. The contract is for a one-day event, at a date to be determined. The County reserves the right to negotiate the date for the current and renewal years. Tentatively, the first waste collection day under this contract will be held on a Saturday in May of 2025. Collection period shall be from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (local time).
