Request for Qualifications

for

Architectural Services and Interior Design

House Doctor Services

The Town of Charlton, acting through its Town Administrator, is seeking qualified architectural firms to provide on-call "House Doctor" design services for the Town of Charlton. The Town of Charlton will award contracts for various projects over a three year period.

The scope of work will generally involve but not limited to  improvements to Senior Center Facilities, Public Safety Facilities, Recreational Properties, and Administrative Facilities, on Town property or property being considered by acquisition by the Town on an as needed basis accessibility and minor interior renovation to offices and classroom spaces.

Applicants must have experience in, and be fully licensed or registered for, all these types of work by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and must list the names of the licensed consultants that will be used.

Construction costs for applicable projects are estimated to be in the range of $35,000 - $1,000,000.

Designer fees will be negotiated for each separate project.

Copies of the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) Instructions will be available in the Town Administrator's Office at 37 Main Street, Charlton Ma, 01507 on and after September 10, 2025, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Monday through Thursday.  The Request for Qualifications may be requested electronically by emailing Assistant Town Administrator Mary Devlin at

Sealed Qualification Proposals submitted in accordance with the RFQ Instructions will be received in the Office of the Town Administrator, 37 Main Street, Charlton MA, 01507 until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 .

Qualification Proposals must be sealed and marked " Request for Qualifications for Architectural and Interior Design House Doctor Services” with the Applicant's name and address clearly noted.
