Hotel Development Opportunity

The Town of Rosthern is inviting qualified and experienced hotel developers to submit proposals for the development, financing, construction, and operation of a new hotel on a prime, highway-front parcel of land located along the service road of 6th Street East, adjacent to Highway 11.

This strategically located site offers exceptional visibility and accessibility and presents a significant opportunity to address Rosthern’s demonstrated accommodation demand while supporting tourism, economic growth, and job creation. The Town is seeking innovative, scalable, and sustainable hotel concepts that align with Council’s long-term strategic vision and community priorities.

Proposals will be evaluated based on project vision and concept, team experience and capacity, financial viability, timeline and deliverability, and community benefits.

All proposals must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2026. Late submissions will not be considered unless due to an error by the Town.

Proposals must be submitted in one of the following formats:
