Specialty beds QUESTION AND ANSWERS are DUE by 4 August 2026 @ 11am CST.
Beds Questions/Answers POSTED
Questions #1: The current contract includes three delivery locations (BAMC, CRDAMC and ISR). This solicitation appears to identify only Brooke Army Medical Center as the delivery location. Can you please confirm whether this requirement is intended to cover only BAMC, or if additional locations will be added by amendment?
Answer #1: there are only 2 delivery locations: BAMC and ISR only. The SOW shows the location of delivery
Question #2: Additionally, can you confirm whether the estimated quantity of 60 per CLIN is the total estimated quantity for the entire 5-year ordering period, or an annual estimate?
Answer #2: This is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) meaning the Government is not sure when and how much will be used at any given time. That’s 60 jobs and not each.
Question #3: Can you please clarify what the QTYs of 60 and Unit of Measure of Job are in reference to? The spreadsheet requests daily prices, but, the actual solicitation references the above units and verbiage. Also, is there an estimated amount of rental days per item?
Answer #3: This will be an indefinite Quantity indefinite delivery (IDIQ) contract, which means the government is not sure how many they will be required to rent at any given time. The spreadsheet provided asks for the unit price of each bed the government will need. The need for specific bed and rental days is unknown. The vendors are supposed to fill only pricing Excel.
