RE: Hoover Ridge Maintenance BuildingMadison County, Virginia
Bids on the referenced project will be received by the County Administrator in the Administration Building, 414 North Main Street, Madison, Virginia 22727 until 2:00 PM, local prevailing time, Tuesday, August 12, 2025 and then publicly opened.
Bids may be withdrawn using the procedure set forth in Virginia Code §2.2-4330 B.1.
The project will consist of the following work:

7,200 sf pre-engineered metal building
-
Incidental site work
The County will award the contract on a lump sum bid basis.
Bid documents consisting of project manual and drawings are open to the public for inspection at the following locations:

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM, local prevailing time, Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at the Madison County Administration Building.
Bid documents in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format may be obtained at no charge from WW Associates, Inc., telephone 434-984-2700. Bidder must provide contact person’s name, email, business address and telephone number to receive bid documents.
Bid Security: Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or an acceptable bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the base bid.
Bidders must be licensed as contractors in the Commonwealth of Virginia in accordance with Title 54.1, Chapter 11 of the Code of Virginia (1950) as amended.
