Home Repair Contractors for Village of Westfield and Sherman

M/WBE -certified residential rehab contractors are being sought to bid home repair projects in privately owned homes in the Villages of Westfield and Sherman, NY. The projects are funded by the NYS Office of Community Renewal's Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG). Approximately 7 projects will be completed in each Village over the next 20 months. All will be general repair and rehab of pre-existing, owner occupied homes. The individual projects will be selected and bid separately over the 20-month period. Eligible bidders will be provided with bid packages as they are developed. Repairs may include any work necessary to assure the structural integrity of the home and the health and safety of the resident. Homes will be brought up to all applicable codes. Typical projects will be in the range of $30,000-$55,000.
