HOLDROOM LIGHTING REPLACEMENT PROJECT FOR BUFFALO NIAGARA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Project Description: SCOPE: The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) the Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BNIA)seeks qualified firms to submit proposals that meet the minimum acceptable criteria set forth herein for a fixed price for the replacement of existing airport holdroom lighting with a LANCE14 Volumetric Troffer Retrofit Kit, 40L, U5 120-277V (www.ipl-inc.com) or an equal. There are a total of 656 fixtures to be replaced.
The scope of work includes the procurement and installation of the new lighting and removal and disposal of the old lighting. All work is to be performed during the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. daily. The Contractor is responsible for moving the seating in the hold room and replacing it in its original position at the end of each workday. Additionally, all labor, tools, material equipment, insurance, and supervision necessary to complete the project as outlined herein are included in the scope of work.
The labor is subject to NYS Prevailing Wage Rates.
PRE-PROPOSAL/SITE INSPECTION: A pre-proposal meeting and site inspection will be held on January 15, 2025, at 3:00 p.m.
The prospective contractor is required to become familiar with the work covered by this contract prior to submitting a proposal. Proponents must register to attend.
