Combined Synopsis and Solicitation for Commercial Items (IAW FAR 12.603)

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotation (RFQ), solicitation number FA460825QC055, is IAW FAR Parts 12 and 13 and is IAW provisions and clauses in Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-03, effective as of 17 January 2025. This is a total set aside for small business and the associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 333923. The small business size standard is 1,250 employees.

Description/Purpose:

This RFQ is for the removal and replacement of one (1) 5-Ton Hoist.

CLIN 0001 - Removal and Replacement of 5-Ton Hoist IAW Attachment 2 - Salient Characteristics and Attachment 3 - Statement of Work, Dated 15 April 2025; Quantity (1); Unit (each)

Site Visit:

A site visit will be held on Thursday, 24 April 2025, at approximately 2:00 PM CDT. Offerors attending the site visit will meet at the front entrance of Building 5778 located at 650 Lindbergh Ave, Barksdale Air Force Base, LA 71110. Those planning to attend the site visit must RSVP no later than 3:30 PM CDT on 23 April 2025. The names of all anticipated site visit attendees must be emailed to the Points of Contact (POCs) listed below. Offerors who do not already have base access will need their Driver’s License, vehicle registration, and insurance to receive base passes. Individuals may obtain a visitor’s pass at the address listed below:

• Contractors driving a noncommercial vehicle will meet at the Shreveport West Gate Visitor Center, located at Wilbur Wright Dr, Barksdale AFB 71110

Due Date and Time:

• Site Visit RSVP due by Wednesday 23 April 2025 at 3:30 PM CDT.


• A Site Visit will take place on Thursday, 24 April 2025 at 2:00 PM CDT.


• Questions must be submitted via email no later than Friday, 25 April 2025 at 1:30 PM CDT.


• Answers to questions submitted IAW specified due date will be provided on or around Monday, 28 April 2025.


• Quotes are requested by Thursday, 1 May 2025 at 1:30 PM CDT.
