HMGP 4400-0066: Natural Gas/Diesel Fixed Commercial/Industrial Grade Standby Generators

NOTICE TO BIDDERS: Go to thomasville.org/departments/purchasing for the complete & unabbreviated Invitation to Bid. Below is an abbreviated version. Sealed bids for the City of Thomasville's HMGP 4400-0066: NATURAL GAS/DIESEL FIXED COMMERICAL/INDUSTRIAL GRADE STANDBY GENERATORS project will be received until 10:00 AM local time on January 9, 2025, at the City Engineer¿s Office, 411 W. Jackson St., Thomasville, GA 31792 for public opening. No Bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for request of bids for a period of 60 days. The Prime Bidder shall be a certified Georgia Certified contractor. All electrical installation/connections shall be performed by a Georgia licensed electrical contractor. All gas installation/connections shall be performed by a Georgia licensed mechanical contractor & will furnish all materials, labor, equipment & perform all work required to complete the project. The work includes construction of a level concrete pad, installation of generator on the pad, all electrical installation/connections, and all natural gas installation/connections. A complete set of bid documents may be viewed and procured at the City Engineer¿s Office (see address above). Proposals will not be considered by Owner unless Bidder is on record as purchasing & receiving complete Bid Documents. Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the Bid. If awarded the Contract, bidder will submit separate Payment & Performance Bond each for 100% of the Contract amount. Bids must be plainly marked ¿HMGP 4400-0066: NATURAL GAS/DIESEL FIXED COMMERICAL/INDUSTRIAL GRADE STANDBY GENERATORS¿ & must be delivered before the time specified.
