Description


The Jackson County Board of Commissioners will be accepting sealed bids for historic preservation renovations to the Historic Courthouse until Thursday, August 21st, 2025 at 10:00 AM. At that time, the sealed bids will be opened and read in the Finance Department Conference Room of the Jackson County Administrative Building at 4965 Jackson Parkway, Jefferson, Georgia 30549. Bids received after the due date and time will not be accepted or considered.

One original and three copies of the bid must be submitted. A 5% bid bond must be submitted with the bid. Performance and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required if the contract is awarded.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the Historic Courthouse, located at 85 Washington St, Jefferson, GA 30549 at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 12th, 2025. Interested vendors are required to attend. All questions must be submitted in writing by Friday, August 15th, 2025 at 5:00 PM through email to Kenneth Morris, Purchasing Manager kmorris@jacksoncountygov.com Barry Vickery, Project Manager bvickery@jacksoncountygov.com and Elysha Wood, Precision Planning Project Manager 570ew@ppi.us.

All interested vendors must download the bid package and forms from the Jackson County web site or at www.vendorregistry.com. Contact person is Kenneth Morris, Purchasing Manager, at 706-367-6309.

Jackson County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any technicalities or irregularities, and to award the bid based on the highest and best interest of Jackson County.
