Hilti and Snap-On Items

Description of Goods or Services to Be Bid: The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (“MTA”) hereby issues this Request for Proposal for As-needed Supply and Delivery of Hilti and Snap-On Proprietary Items and related services (“RFP”) on behalf of itself and its operating agencies, which are: New York City Transit including Manhattan and Bronx Surface Transit Operating Authority, MTA Staten Island Railway, MTA Long Island Rail Road, MTA Metro-North Railroad, MTA Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority and MTA Bus Company (“Operating Agencies”). In the aggregate, the MTA’s annual spend on Hilti and Snap-On items is roughly $5.5 million, distributed across its Agencies by varying product mixes. This RFP is divided into two (2) defined and distinct groups of products: Hilti and Snap-On proprietary items, related services include but may not be limited to: Supply and delivery of goods, e-catalog services, tool repair services (post warranty period), data tracking and reporting.

Funding: 100% Operating Goals: N/A Est $ Range: $10M - $50M Contract Term: Five (5) years, with two (2) one-year options
