DESCRIPTION:

Replace rotted beams floor and wall panels as needed. This is a NYS Public Works project, and prevailing wages are to be paid, PRC# 2025006237

SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following:

1. Work will include demo, tearing out existing tiled floor and repair and replace rotted floor joist beams plywood and any type of hanger also wall boards if needed.
2. Any damage found during demo shall be brought to the maintenance supervisor
3. Contractor should inspect and verify damaged areas during site visit.
4. Provide and replace existing floor drains the same diameter as the existing with a clamping membrane type. Drains need to be lower than the floor so water can flow into them.
5. Provide and install noble seal throughout the bathroom and shower floor and up the walls approximately 6”.
6. Provide and install new mud set sub floor in shower area, slope to be pitched to

drains no ponding accepted.

1. Provide and install ½” cement board on walls in shower.

1. Provide and coat cement board on walls with two coats of Hydro Ban waterproofing.
2. Provide 2”x2” mosaic tile, grout and sealer and install in bathroom and shower floors.

Maintenance supp/ will pick out color.

1. Provide and install bone color ¼” Corian on walls with manufacture recommended

Adhesive where existing tiles were.

1. Provide and install ¼” Corian Batting strips bone in color over seams of Corian on

Walls with manufacture recommended adhesive.

1. Provide and install ½” by 4” Corian baseboard bone in color throughout bathroom and

Shower with manufacture recommended adhesive.

1. Provide and install ¼” Corian Batting strips bone in color over seams of Corian on

walls with manufacture recommended adhesive.

1. Install new grab bars same size as the ones you remove and any chalking or painting if needed.

   A site visit is not mandatory. The site visit date is scheduled for Thursday, June 19 ^th 2025 at 9 a.m. at the project site. All prospective bidders are encouraged to attend.
