Responses to a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Architectural & Engineering Services for the Hillcrest Estates FEMA Community Safe Room construction project will be received on behalf of the City of Altoona, WI, by Craig Johnson of the West Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission no later than 4:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on Friday April 4th, 2025 .

The project, which is supported in large part by a grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, is for the design and construction of a Community Safe Room (5,600 gross s.f.) at the Hillcrest Estates Mobile Home Park located within the City of Altoona, WI.

Each submittal must respond to all the items in the RFP and will be evaluated on the following five criteria: 1) Work Plan & Project Approach, 2) Project Experience, 3) Personnel, 4) Project Schedule, 5) Fees & Reimbursable Costs.

The City may, at its sole and absolute discretion, reject any and all, or parts of any and all proposals, re-advertise the RFP, postpone or cancel at any time the RFP process, or waive any irregularities in the RFP and to award the contract in the best interest of the City of Altoona.
