Project Summary : The City of Houston ("City") is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to provide construction services aimed at improving traffic safety for motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists. The work includes the installation of safe crossings, sidewalks, ADA-compliant ramps, crosswalk pavement markings, and traffic signs within the existing public right-of-way. The project also includes median modifications, raised-median sidewalks, curb extensions, crosswalk enhancements, lane markings, Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs), and other related traffic-control signage.
