Prior to submitting a bid, digital project documents must be downloaded from www.QuestCDN.com for a $22.00 payment. Contact QuestCDN at 952-233-1632 or info@questcdn.com for assistance with free membership registration, downloading digital project information, and electronic bidding. Digital documents are available for download by inputting Quest project #9943056 on the website’s project search page. An optional paper set of plans and specifications is available for a nonrefundable price of $150.00 per set, which includes applicable sales tax and shipping, from the Bismarck Engineering Department. Digital download and bidding through QuestCDN is still required. Bidding requires a separate $42.00 payment to QuestCDN.com.

Special Requirements:
The contractor shall upload a copy of his license or renewal thereof, pursuant to Section 43-07-12 of the North Dakota Century Code, as amended, through QuestCDN.

The contractor shall upload a copy of his bidder’s bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid as required by Section 48-01.2, North Dakota Century Code, as amended, and executed as provided by law, through QuestCDN. The bid bond shall be conditioned that if the principal’s bid is accepted and a contract is awarded, the principal shall execute the contract within ten days of receipt of the notice of award.

Miscellaneous:
Work for HC-173 shall consist of approximately 154,000 CY of excavation, 1 LS aggregate columns, 4,700 LF of storm sewer, 25 manholes, 39 inlets, 7,800 CY of blended base, 8,000 LF of curb and gutter, 4,900 Tons of AC Superpave, 9,900 LF of 2-Inch conduit, 9,800 LF of conductor, 40 Type CL streetlights, and related items. Work for SE-576 shall consist of approximately 18,000 CY of borrow excavation, 190 LF of storm sewer, 2 temporary stream diversions, 90 LF of RCB storm sewer, 2,000 tons of rip rap, and related items.
