High-Voltage Tree Trimming

The City of Richmond, Virginia (the "City"), on behalf of the Department of Public Utilities ("DPU") seeks bids from qualified firms for the removal and disposal of certain tree limbs (the "Project"). The Project will entail removing/pruning tree growth interfering with DPU's electric street lighting and high-voltage system (the "Work").

DPU owns and operates an electric distribution utility with five substations, approximately forty five thousand poles, thirty seven thousand streetlights, more than 300 miles of overhead and underground conductors, and related systems infrastructure. The Electric Utility Department, Electric Distribution Division provides services for the operations and maintenance of the electric systems.

The City needs high-voltage utility line tree trimming services to maintain its streetlight and distribution system.
