High School Baseball and Softball Field Lighting Upgrades

Lewisville Independent School District ("LISD", "District") is a Texas public school located in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area, encompasses approximately 127 square miles, and has approximately 47,000 students and 6,400 staff members.

As part of the 2024 Bond Program, the Lewisville Independent School District (LISD) is accepting Competitive Sealed Proposals (CSP) for the High School Baseball and Softball Stadium Lighting Replacement at five LISD High Schools excluding The Colony High School softball field. This is a turnkey project which includes replacing all the existing baseball and softball field lighting with new, LED sports lighting and RGB color fixtures. The system should provide light to accommodate both the bleachers and field of play and installation of a new control hub in each field’s control booth with a wireless switch in the dugout. Replacing lighting includes reuse of existing light poles and infrastructure, if possible.

This project may be awarded to one or multiple vendors by campus, multiple campuses, or all five schools (Baseball) or all four schools (Softball) as determined to be the best value to Lewisville Independent School District.

This request for Competitive Sealed Proposal (CSP) follows Government Code 2269.

Estimated construction/public works costs (subject to change): $3,153,024. This number will change as the project is developed but should be used as an estimate for the purposes of this CSP.

The estimated completion date for this project: October 1, 2025.

Although the District is specifically requesting the pricing and specification set forth in the line items of this solicitation, vendors may provide alternative options as part of this open solicitation process.

The engineering drawings and specifications provided from McAdams for this project is outlined in the design documents (attached under the "Attachments" tab of this proposal).
