Solicitation Description:

Executive Summary

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) isseeking a Contractor to provide an annual statewide Conference for the Councilon Sex Offender Treatment (CSOT). The Conference seeks to provide continuingeducation, disseminate information, educate, and train professionalorganizations whose purpose is to assess, treat, and manage sex offenders andprevent sexual assault.

Conference attendance offers the opportunity to provideand promote a network of professionals in the field of sex offender treatmentand to ensure continued competence of professionals by offering ContinuingEducation Unit (CEU) hours for provider licenses.

Scope of Work

Contractor will design, planand coordinate Conferences, and offer Continuing Education programs for LicensedSex Offender Treatment Provider’s (LSOTP)’s and Affiliate Sex OffenderTreatment Provider’s (ASOTP)’s through CSOT compliant Conferences in thefollowing format:

a. Frequency: Annually.

b. Duration: Two to three days.

c. Access: In-person.

d. CEUs: offer 12-21 hours over the course of theconference.

Contract Term

The initial term of any Contractresulting from this Solicitation will be for two (2) years. HHSC,at its sole option, may extend any Contract awarded pursuant to thisSolicitation three (3) additional years.
