Solicitation Description:

Executive Summary

The TexasHealth and Human Services Commission (“HHSC”) seeks a commercial distributor tosupply a full-line of United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) GradeNumber 1 or better-quality fresh fruits and vegetables(“FF&V”) to State-operated facilities , State Hospitals (SH)’s, StateSupported Living Centers (SSLC)’s and related canteens.

Scope of Work

Contractor will be required to source, purchase, store, and deliver avariety of FF&V items to QEs on an ongoing basis, while at the same timemaintaining acceptable fill rates, levels of customer service, and productquality.

Contract Term

Theinitial term will be of one (1) year and may extend up to four (4) additional years.
