McDuffie County is currently soliciting sealed bids for damage repairs related to Hurricane Helene at Big Hart Campground- 5258 Washington Road Thomson, Ga.

Pavillion Roof

Remove and Replace roofing-corrugated- 29 gauge (940.80 SF) Remove and Replace Ridge Cap-metal roofing (58 LF)

Remove and Replace Sheathing-2"X 6" - tongue and groove (450 SF)

Prime and Paint Deck -1  Coat primer, 1 coat paint (450 SF)

*Painted exposed roof sheathing Paint Deck-1coat paint (490.80 SF)

*Paint remaining exposed roof sheathing to match Single axle-dump truck- per load - including dump fees

A separate bid is required for each individual location, but a Company is not required to bid each location in order to be considered. Bids will be received until September 17, 2025 at 2p.m. at the McDuffie County Finance Department located at 210 Railroad Street (2 ^nd floor). Any bid received after this date and time willnot be accepted.

Award will be made to the Company submitting the lowest responsive and responsible bid. McDuffie County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, and to make an award deemed in its best interest.
