The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (herein after “District”, “Owner” and “CFTOD”) is a Special Taxing District that serves as a local government entity. The District is responsible for its public infrastructure including, but not limited to roads, bridges, and water control system.

The District is requesting services to provide aquatic herbicide chemicals for the treatment and control of Hydrilla.

The supplier must be able to provide documentation of Safety Data Sheets and labels for chemicals purchased as well as completing Exhibit B-Product Table. All herbicide equivalents must be registered and approved by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for aquatic used.

Due to the fluctuation in need, the products will be ordered on an as needed basis. The District will typically place an order 2 to 3 times a year.

Central Florida Tourism Oversight District is not authorized by permit nor has the appropriate facility to store large quantities of chemicals; therefore, products will need to be delivered to the site for immediate use.
