General Notice

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received electronically via Bonfire until December 18, 2024 at 2:00 pm CT. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read at City Hall, Purchasing Division Room 238, Logistics Conference Room located at 501 Harrison Avenue, Panama City, FL 32401.

This project consists of improving Hentz Park by constructing new sidewalks, stormwater improvements, landscaping, irrigation, minor paving, lighting, pavilions, hardscape and other associated amenities.

The Project has an expected duration of 180 days.

Obtaining the Bidding Documents

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is the City of Panama City. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing office. Instructions to Bidders

For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.

Panama City reserves the right to accept any Bids deemed to be in the best interest of the City, to waive any minor irregularities, scrivener’s errors, minor omissions, minor deviations, and/or technicalities in any Bids, or to reject any or all Bids and to re-advertise for new Bids, in accordance with the applicable sections of the Florida Statutes, the City Charter and City Code, and this Invitation to Bid (ITB). The responsibility for submitting a Bid before the stated time and date is solely and strictly that of the Responsive Bidder. The City is not responsible for any delayed, late, lost, misdelivered, or non-delivered Bids, no matter the cause.

Invitation to Bid. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, to solicit and re-advertise for new Bid submittals or to abandon the project in its entirety.
