Hemp Winter Environment Research

Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of hemp research from Imperial Valley Conservation Research Center as a sole source because the contractor is the only provider able to meet critical parameters to support research needs of the university. OSU, in a cooperative agreement with the USDA, requires a local supplier within specific geographic and environmental elements to conduct winter hemp growth research. Additional requirements include facilities and expertise of growing hemp within this environment and the ability to conduct research and collect data. The selected
supplier is the only one that meets all these criteria. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-015. Section 5.20 no later than the closing date indicated on the website. Appeals must be submitted to Procurement, Contracts and Materials Management at procurement@oregonstate.edu by January 29. 2025 at 3:00 pm, PT.
